Announcing our 1st Hike

We can't wait for this

Crone Woods & Maulin Peak

10am  Saturday 27th June 2026

Hike will depart 10:15am 


Pathway / trail and a small climb


Estimated Number of Hikers for this event :  45


Footwear

Sturdy trainers, hiking trainers or hiking boots.

All of these are ok. Heavy hiking boots can be a tad warm for this time of year. 


Clothing

Check "Glencree" on your weather app the night before to judge the temperature, wind and rain. Bring a light rain jacket in the car and we will inform on the day if you'll need it. Hiking rucksacks are optional. It depends on how you want to carry your water, food, tissues etc. 


Meeting Place:

Park your car and meet at the barrier, which is the start of the hiking trail.


Fitness Level Required. 7/10

If you're able to walk 10 kms you'll be able to manage this hike.

Bring Water and a small amount of food.


Getting there 

Type Crone Woods Car Park into Google Maps

8:13am Bus 44 from St Stephens Green East to Enniskerry (arrives 9:20am)

- anyone wanting a lift from Enniskerry to Crone Woods 

please message us 1 - 2 days prior to the hike.


Toilets on route

As there are no toilets at the Car Park here are our top suggestions

a) coffee shop stop in Enniskerry at 9:30am  

- then 10 minute drive to Crone Woods Car Park


b) Circle K Kilmacanogue (they have public toilets) 

- then 15 mins to Crone Woods Car Park
